These designated parking areas are carefully selected so scooters don't get in anyone else's way. We love our cities, and it's a privilege to help keep them clean and safe for everyone. Our goal is to have parking areas available within 200-300 meters no matter where you are in the Whoosh service zone.
Sometimes they're just an area outside where the city approved scooter parking because it makes sense and doesn't create any obstructions.

But some parking areas don't have any markings on the ground. We call them Virtual Parking areas, and mark them accordingly in the app
We work closely with the city to add special markings on the ground to help riders park scooters correctly.
Please follow these simple rules to park the scooter:
Don't block sidewalks. Park your scooter parallel to and close against walls, or in a designated parking area. When in doubt, park your scooter where it won't interfere with anyone

Always leave at least two meters of free space and be sure not to block anyone's way

Don't block any entrances or exits. Don't park on the grass

Don't block bicycle racks. Please park the scooter nearby to allow bicycles access to the racks

Use the kickstand to make sure the scooter is parked upright

The parking areas shown on the in-app map can change sometimes. Check out the map before riding and plan your parking accordingly. Park your scooter by any area marked with a "P" sign in the app
As a rider, you always know where to find parking or pick up a scooter thanks to the "P" marks on the in-app map. At your destination, just look for the nearest "P." If there isn't one right next to you, the nearest should only be a quick 3-5 minute walk away
We believe our designated parking areas strike a good balance in the city
How we help:
When you're not riding, the sidewalks will be free of unattended scooters. You're free to roll wheelchairs and strollers unimpeded, or just walk outside without having to jump around parked scooters.
City services can also work without having to constantly pick up scooters and move them around.
The city looks nice and organized, not like a toddler's playroom with toys scattered everywhere.

Move incorrectly parked scooters as soon as possible
Analyze the patterns and behaviors of our riders and constantly adapt our parking infrastructure to make it more convenient for everyone
